The Consumer Tester within LiveCompare leverages the test coverage reports generated by the application, assessing the thoroughness of their testing activities. Testers are highly skilled in interpreting the various aspects of the generated reports, such as functionality, code changes, number and frequency of executed tests and the percentage of tests executed. This enables them to continuously focus their testing efforts, improving the application overall.
LiveCompare training for the Consumer user-role consists primarily of learning how to interpret and consume the reports relevant to their job responsibilities. The Consumer user-role does not require in-depth technical LiveCompare specific skills to leverage the value of the application. In day-today operations, the Consumer may not even interact with LiveCompare as analysis results can be configured to be auto-delivered to Consumers.
Consumers leverage reports generated by LiveCompare. They are responsible for:
- Reviewing and interpreting analysis results.
- Implementing actions based on reports.
- Identifying risks.
