Tricentis Tosca Product Consultant (Self-paced)

Welcome to the Tosca Product Consultant learning path for Tricentis delivery partners.

The Product Consultant learning path is recommended for implementation consultants working independently on implementation projects.  Below, you will find a curated list of learning courses that will give you the skills and knowledge to use Tricentis Tosca effectively in that context. This path takes 10.5 days to complete, or 84 hours.

The objectives of this learning path include enabling practitioners to describe the processes and best practices of creating and executing model-based tests using Tosca, static test data management and data driven testing using Tosca, and best practices for test creation. This path includes test creation for both UI as well as API testing. In addition, practitioners can expect to learn how to explore the out of the box automation capabilities using the TBox engines of Tosca for robust test automation as well as exploring a risk-based testing approach using Tosca.

Specific tasks practitioners are enabled to carry out, once completing this path are:

1. Create Modules using Tosca XScan and use them to create end to end Test Cases following best practices 
2. Create static test data using the TestCase Design section
3. Create and risk weight the requirements 
4. Execute and analyze the Test Cases
5. Leverage the out of the box functionalities and TBox engines to create end to end tests
6. Create API tests as well as UI tests

Finally, after completing the prerequisite training, you will have the opportunity to take the Tricentis Tosca Product Consultant exam. The certification completes this learning journey and allows you to demonstrate your learning progress as well as to recognize yourself in your learning progress with the title “Tricentis Tosca Product Consultant”.
